Well, it's been a while.

I've been freakin' busy lately -- I had company over the weekend, so I was busy, busy, busy driving around Maryland. We went to an Orioles game on Saturday, which was awesome. Then we went to Annapolis the next day and Washington D.C. on Monday. It was fun. And we walked a lot!

And when I finally got back to work I had to finish up my presentation on Maryland spies for June 1. So that kept me busy, until I found out that I could switch with my boss and do it June 15.

And I'm applying for the job at PBS in Wisconsin. But it's an insanely large application that they require, and I need to get it done like yesterday. I talked to Ellen last night -- she's being a reference for me -- and she made me miss Wisconsin. Sigh. It's so hard to figure things out -- do I really want to get back to the Midwest and have to start over at a new library all over again? Well, yes, but only at the right library.

Anyway, I'll quit whining about work and etc. I've got plans for the weekend -- I'm going to a "prom" on Saturday. It should be fun, and I finished altering my dress. I am just going to stop at the mall on Saturday to look for some white gloves and then Kmart or something to get some silver or white sandals. It'll be very '50s.

And then Sunday I've got a cook-out with the young adults group from my church. I've got to make something starting with my name -- I'm not sure what it's going to be yet.

Right, so I'm going to get back to my job application. I'll write more tomorrow.
