Working at an urban library system in the main library has given me the opportunity to meet (and help!) a bunch of very interesting characters. One of them is a little man who often wears a hat. He seems to have taken a shine to me and often says things like "Good evening" (this is at around 1 pm) and "I am blessed to have seen you today." But my favorite thing that he says is "You remind me of Judge Judy. And she is beautiful."

Honestly, do I look like Judge Judy?

I don't think so. But it amuses me to think that he invisions us as being the same.

I finished reading Harry Potter on Sunday afternoon. Trip and I read the book together -- although he's still working on it. I was actually pretty happy with how it all ended, though I'm not a huge fan of the epilogue. (Yes, I said it. EPILOGUE! There is an epilogue, but I won't tell you what's in it!) I didn't feel like I was rushing through it, as I have in the past, which often leads to missing big chunks of why and how things happen exactly. But, as anyone can imagine, there's a lot of details that are easy to miss in the quest for HOW IT ALL ENDS. So I'll be going back to clarify to myself how it all happened. I'll miss Harry Potter, but I am willing to bet a doughnut that J.K. Rowling writes another book...sometime in the future.
