Today when I was going out for coffee for lunch I realized that I was really happy. It's a beautiful fall day -- not sunny and warm, but crisp and a little overcast. And things have been just going really well for me -- work is good. The programs I did this month were not really well attended, but people came and learned from me! Seriously! I taught people stuff about getting jobs!

I'm really enjoying Confirmation and the Bible/book studies that I have been going to are making me think, which is great. I feel like I don't really think about my faith that often -- or perhaps I feel that I question whether my faith is great enough. And I think that questioning it is good -- but that the studies that I've been going to are making me think and realize things about myself and God.

And of course there is Junior, who really should get a better nom de blog. Or perhaps I should just use his real, heck, I might as well. It's Trip. And he's great.

Plus I feel like lately I've been staying in touch with my friends, especially those further afield, a lot better. And making new friends here in Baltimore. I didn't think that I was going to be putting down roots in Baltimore, but it's happened and I'm actually pretty happy about it.

So yeah, I feel like a lot of times I end up dwelling on the not-so-awesome things in my life -- the job being stressful or having to buy a new car. But when you're happy, it's not something that always gets put out there. Or else I end up being so busy and distracted by things that I don't get to write about it. And I should.

Anyway, enough about that. Here's a puzzler -- should I try to write a novel during November? I feel like it might be a good idea to try -- although I feel like I would need to come up with a little bit of a plot or outline before hand. And October is almost over!! Last year I didn't manage to finish the challenge and honestly, this year would probably be hard too, but I think I might just have to try. I mean, why not? What's the worst that could happen? I don't write it?

So, any fun suggestions on what to write about?

evil squirrels.

and their plot to murder all of humankind.

then the cats, who they hate with a passion but are currently in kahoots with.
