Man, there are days when I just want to throw in the towel.

And today is one of them.

There's this guy who has been asking for articles about the Black Hand in Baltimore. And so I found all the relevant citations and offered to scan and email the articles to him. He's from England, so the whole currency exchange thing is a pain in the arse. And I started to send them, only to get a response saying he's on vacation and doesn't want the images sent now; could I start April 1. So I've been working on scanning them and sending them. And today I get an email saying "Send more; I'm here now." And another email saying "Couldn't you just photocopy them and send them to me?" Jackass. The reason I'm emailing them is because you're in the bloody UK. It's like, I work in a public library. I don't have time to sit around and focus solely on your crap. And you should be bloody well happy that I am willing to do this -- I actually don't have to scan and email the humongous stack of photocopies that I have been doing. He is the most ungrateful person I have had the pleasure of corresponding with, and I cannot wait to be done with it. Oy.

Being a librarian can be a pain sometimes.
