I have a new car!

Well, I don't actually have it yet. But I have signed all the stuff to buy the car and I will be getting it early this upcoming week -- as soon as I get everything taken care of with GEICO and turn in the Neon and get the check.

It's a Mazda3 -- 2006 -- Strato Blue! It's very shiny and pretty. And it's got air conditioning and that's about it. And a CD player that is built in, so finally I will be able to listen to BURNED CDS!!!! YAY! No more skipping and whatnot with the el cheapo Radio Shack CD player. Plus it's got a whole fancy you-can-shift-the-gears-but-don't-have-to-use-the-clutch. AWESOME. I don't know that I will really use it, but I CAN!!! So, let's just say, I'm using lots of exclamation points today.

It's Sunday and guess what else I did today? Oh, you'll never guess, so I might as well just tell you, but I got to meet Trip's parents at church. It was New Member Sunday, so he joined my church and his parents came down to check things out. So we went out for lunch together and it was quite nice. They were quite nice to me and I think things went pretty well. It's always hard to say though. Who knows what they thought of me. Perhaps that I'm a weirdo from the Midwest.

So yeah, that's been the weekend. I was supposed to be in NYC and seeing a musical -- The 22nd Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee -- but I stayed here to buy the car. Yup.

Anyway, I have to pick up my roommate from the bus station pretty soon, so I should probably wrap this puppy up. Adios.
